We don't print mass-produced goods; we bring your one idea to life: from the first sketch to the finished, hand-finished piece. And we'll tell you honestly what works well.

How it works
You don't need to be a 3D expert and you don't need to bring anything finished. Just tell us what you have in mind – we'll go through the rest together, step by step.
Tell us your idea, with no obligation. An enquiry never costs a thing.
You receive a preview image and the price – before anything becomes binding.
Only once you say yes to the preview and price do we start making it.
During production you approve progress photos one by one. If something isn’t right, we change it.
You see a last photo of the finished piece. It only ships to you – as an insured DHL parcel – after your approval.

We're not an anonymous printing machine. Behind SL Design is a small family business – and that's how we work:

Good to know
Painted pieces are genuine handwork. We get very close to your reference and give it our best, but we don’t promise an exact 1:1 copy. On request we show you a photo beforehand and touch it up if something isn’t right.
Most of the time we print with a sturdy PLA+, which works well for figures and decoration. If the piece will take more wear, we’ll advise you on alternatives like PETG or ABS – we honestly recommend what suits your purpose.
We only use photos, sketches, names and personal wishes to discuss and carry out your order. We don’t show or publish any of it without your explicit permission.
First you see a preview image and the fixed price. If that works for you, we begin with a deposit and start making it. During the work you receive photos to approve. At the end we show you a photo of the finished piece. Only once you’re happy do you pay the rest, and we send it to you.

It depends on the size, the effort involved, the material and any hand-painting. You’ll know the full price before production starts – the order only becomes binding once you’ve approved it. An enquiry is always free.

Yes. Before printing you’ll get a preview, so there are no surprises. On request we’ll also send you a photo before it ships.
Because a piece like this is made especially for you, there is no right of withdrawal. That’s exactly why we take the time to agree everything in advance and you give your approval before we begin.
Everything is made here in Germany, in Twistringen. No anonymous shipping from abroad – you have one dedicated contact person.
