Right of withdrawal

Information for consumers when a contract is concluded directly with SL Design by enquiry, email or distance communication.
For consumers placing direct orders
These notes apply to consumers when a contract is concluded directly with SL Design by enquiry, email, telephone or comparable distance communication. For purchases made through eBay, the information provided in the relevant listing there applies.
Right of withdrawal for standard items
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw, within 14 days and without giving any reason, from a distance contract concluded directly. As a rule, the period begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party named by them, takes possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear statement by email or letter to SL Design is sufficient. The statement should make it clear that the contract is being withdrawn.

Refunds and returns
Following a valid withdrawal, the payments received, including the standard delivery costs, are generally refunded within 14 days. The refund may be withheld until the goods have been received back or proof of return has been provided.
The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal has been declared. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed before the contract was concluded.
No withdrawal for personalised items
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture depends on an individual choice or decision made by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to personal requirements.
This applies, for example, to personalised lettering, names, designs, special dimensions, one-off pieces or 3D prints produced specifically for an enquiry. For orders of this kind, it is agreed before production whether the item is a custom-made piece.
Statutory rights
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
