Server log data

When you visit this website, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This may include, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, your browser, operating system and referrer.

This processing takes place so that the website can be delivered, operated stably and protected against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes, unless statutory obligations or security reasons require it to be retained for longer.

Enquiries to SL Design

If you use the contact form or get in touch by email, the data you provide is processed. This includes your name, email address, the selected subject, your message and the time of the enquiry.

The data is used to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether a custom order is feasible and, where necessary, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, in so far as the enquiry relates to an order or pre-contractual measures. In other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Enquiries are deleted once they have been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in further storage exist.

Call-back for important matters

If you use the separate call-back page, the data you provide is processed. This includes your name, telephone number, the selected reason, your message and the time of the request.

The data is used solely to assess whether a call-back is required for an important matter and, where appropriate, to call you back. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, in so far as an existing or prospective order is concerned, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The call-back request is deleted once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in further storage exist.

Hosting and email

Technical service providers are used to operate the website and for email communication, in particular the web hosting and email provider. These service providers only process data within the scope of the technical provision and protection of the services.

Protection against spam

The forms include simple technical protective measures so that automated spam requests can be detected more reliably. These include a hidden field and a brief time check on submission.

Internal visitor statistics

This website uses a simple, self-operated visitor statistics tool without any external analytics services. In doing so, information such as the page requested, the date and time, the referring page, the browser and device type as well as your IP address is processed. The IP address is anonymised after 30 days at the latest; any approximate location (country, region) derived from it is likewise removed after 30 days at the latest.

The data remains on our own web hosting and is not passed on to third parties. No cookies are set for this purpose and no profiles are created across websites. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation and protection of our own website).

Design setting (light/dark)

If you switch the view, this choice is stored solely locally in your browser so that the website can remember it. No data is transmitted to the server or to third parties in doing so.

eBay shop

This website contains links to SL Design's eBay shop. If you click on such a link, you leave this website. The data processing on eBay is governed by the privacy notice of the respective platform operator.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain forms of processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Lower Saxony, the authority responsible is, in particular: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, www.lfd.niedersachsen.de.
